Welcome to
A Horse Named Moo
You may thinking - A Horse… Named Moo? We get that a lot! We might have a silly name, but we are serious about our genetics.
Family owned and operated by Justin and Codi Triesch, A Horse Named Moo got its start just a short few years ago as a registered Simmental club calf and seed-stock operation based in Emory, Texas. Growing up in the agricultural industry, we have always been fueled by a passion for keeping kids in agriculture, the life lessons it teaches, and the importance of developing the next generation of leaders in the industry. With those values in mind, we began building a world class Simbrah herd.
The Simbrah and Simmental breeds are renowned for rapid growth, excellent beef production, and overall functionality. At A Horse Named Moo, we are focused on producing these sought after characteristics through high quality genetics. To be the best, you have to want the best - and we take pride in raising quality animals that will allow us to be a highly recognized national champion Simbrah breeder for years to come.
Our goal at A Horse Named Moo is not only to teach our own children the life lessons that come along with ranching, but to raise breed awareness for all 4H and FFA clubs across the nation. Whether you are in the market for your next champion, or a seed-stock producer looking to increase the overall quality of your herd, A Horse Named Moo will help you accomplish your goals.
